A great display of Mercedes-Benz at the Auto One Classic Car Show

On Sunday the 3rd of May, 19 club members brought along some vehicles that were the envy of many. We were certainly a drop in the ocean of the 1000+ cars on display in Whiteman Park, but that didn’t stop us from gathering onlookers around the well-presented vehicles on display. Take a look through the gallery and keep a look out in the next edition of Megastar for a full run-down of the event.

German Car Day 2015 was a big success!

With around 250 cars and well over 300 people in attendance, today’s German Car Day was bigger and better than ever!

Thanks to everyone who attended; we certainly enjoyed ourselves and hope you did too (despite the traffic delays).

Best of all, your participation and generous contributions have gone toward helping needy West Australian families access vital medical services, with proceeds going to the Wheels For Hope charity.

If you didn’t make it, perhaps you’d like to see what you missed? Check out the pics below. See you next year, Perth!

Mercedes Inspire me Community

INNOVATION_Neuer_Maßstab_für_Service_01[1]Recently Mercedes-Benz launched an online ownership portal named Mercedes me (https://www.mercedes-benz.com/en/mercedes-me/). New Mercedes-Benz vehicles that feature online connectivity can be accessed through the portal, allowing owners to find their car, check that the doors are locked, check how much fuel they have and also add and update apps for their COMAND Online multimedia system. 2015 New Members’ Breakfast

The year started with a bang, with over 100 people and 50 cars attending this year’s New Members’ Breakfast.

A big thanks to John & Shirley Hall, Angus Stewart and the committee for making the day run smoothly and enjoyable for all.

The day started with all attendees meeting in Parliament Place before a short drive through King’s Park. Upon arrival at Beaton Park in Nedlands, we were greeted with a fully prepared cooked breakfast that went down very well.

Members old and new had a chance to meet and mingle and it certainly set the precedent for the year’s events ahead.

2015 MBCCWA Garden Party

All members are invited to attend a poolside Garden Party at the home of committee member Natasha Hunt.

The Party will be held on Sunday 1st of March at Natasha’s home in King’s Park Avenue in Crawley (see picture below) from 2pm.

Our host will be providing tea/coffee and cakes. Members who wish to bring beer, wine or spirits are welcome to do so as the club will not be providing alcoholic drinks. There are two swimming pools, so members are also welcome to bring their bathers for a cooling dip. Fingers crossed for some appropriate weather.

RSVP is essential, so please contact Natasha directly to confirm your attendance. Natasha’s email is tasha001@live.com.au and her phone number is 0414 666 172.
